On July 5, 2024, Francisco Javier Alvis, 25, a Hispanic/Latino man from Lincoln, Nebraska, drove to the Russï s Market area near South Coddington Avenue and West ï Aï Street for what investigators later described as a marijuana deal. As night settled in, surveillance and witness accounts placed him in his pickup in the parking lot, meeting with Geï Auvieon Crayton, who arrived in a silver Jeep and climbed into Alvisï truck.
