On the morning of December 4, 2025, a fatal confrontation occurred at a convenience store in Lincoln, Nebraska, resulting in the death of 24-year-old JaRell Wheeler. The incident took place shortly after 11:00 a.m. at a Casey's General Store located near South 13th and E Streets. Wheeler was present at the location when he encountered his brother, 23-year-old Emanuel Greenwalt-Claypool, who was working as a delivery driver and had arrived to transport products to the store.
