On April 17, 2012, Anthony Honeyman Morrow, a 30-year-old man from Wilmington, Delaware, was fatally shot in what authorities later determined to be a targeted homicide. Morrow, a well-known figure in the local community, was discovered with gunshot wounds in the 200 block of North Monroe Street, near the intersection of 4th and Monroe.
