On July 6, 2014, 43-year-old Crystal Brown was fatally struck by a stray bullet in Wilmington, Delaware. That evening, she had walked to Adams Market at 7th and Adams streets, just a block from her home. As she exited the store, she inadvertently stepped into a nearby altercation where tempers had flared among a gathered crowd.
