On January 5, 1993, Linda Ann Moody Armstrong, a 35-year-old woman from Wilmington, Delaware, was brutally murdered. In the early hours of that day, Armstrong was last seen entering a pickup truck with two unknown men near 14th and Claymont Streets. Hours later, her body was discovered in a vacant lot behind what was then Gander Hill Prison (now Howard R. Young Correctional Institution).
