LaRita M. Kinley, a 37-year-old African American woman, was fatally shot on June 4, 2020, in the Fernwood neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Officers responding to a call of shots fired found her unresponsive with a gunshot wound to her hip. She was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where she was pronounced dead at 1:53 a.m. LaRita Kinley was a resident of Kenosha, Wisconsin.
