On October 12, 2003, Tony Curtis Baylor, aged 24, was shot between 9:00 and 9:45 p.m. at a gas station located at the intersection of Minnesota and Pennsylvania Avenues SE, Washington, D.C. Despite being shot, Baylor managed to drive himself to a nearby hospital for treatment. However, due to complications resulting from the gunshot wound, he tragically passed away on October 26, 2003, approximately two weeks after the initial incident. His death was subsequently ruled a homicide.
