On July 28, 2020, at approximately 10:55 p.m., a quadruple shooting occurred in the 1100 block of Beech Street in Wilmington, Delaware. The incident resulted in the deaths of 23-year-old Alexus Cumberbatch and 17-year-old Nyzere Seth. Two other male victims, aged 18 and 26, sustained injuries but were reported to be in stable condition. The circumstances leading to the shooting remain unclear, and authorities have not released information regarding potential suspects or motives.
