On November 28, 2009, Valerie Jean White Miller, 47, and her husband, Michael Miller Sr., were found deceased in their Webster Plantation, Maine, home. Both had sustained fatal gunshot wounds to the head, their bodies discovered on the kitchen floor. The initial report suggested possible carbon monoxide poisoning; however, authorities quickly determined the deaths were homicides.
