Armani Thomas-Cotton, a 16-year-old Black/African American male from Milwaukee, was killed on the morning of August 13, 2026, in a shooting near North 40th Street and West Clarke Street on the city's north side. Milwaukee police said the gunfire erupted at approximately 9:33 a.m. Investigators reported that the person responsible fired from a vehicle, striking Armani and leaving him with fatal injuries. He died at the scene.
