On a cold January morning in Bangor, Maine, the life of a young woman named Ariah Jacques, a 24-year-old female, was brought to a tragic and violent end. On January 12, 2023, police were dispatched to a residence on G Street in the Birch Hill Estates following reports of a possible domestic violence situation and the sound of gunshots. Upon their arrival around 10:30 a.m., officers were unable to make contact with anyone inside the home.
