On January 12, 2023, Bangor police responded to a reported domestic violence incident at a residence on G Street. After unsuccessful attempts to contact the occupants, officers deployed a robot, which revealed an injured individual inside. The Special Response Team then entered the home and discovered the bodies of 24-year-old Ariah Jacques and 57-year-old John Neff.
