In the summer of 2007, the community of Wells, Maine, was shaken by the tragic death of 24-year-old Nicole Lynn Oliver. A devoted mother of two young boys, Nicole was discovered in her home on July 9, 2007, the victim of a violent act that also claimed the life of her 30-year-old husband, Thomas Oliver. Investigators concluded that the couple died in an apparent murder-suicide. At the time of their deaths, the Olivers were reportedly going through divorce proceedings.
