On June 13, 2011, in Dexter, Maine, 38-year-old Amy Bagley Lake and her two children, 13-year-old Coty and 12-year-old Monica, were tragically murdered by her estranged husband, Steven Lake, who subsequently took his own life. The incident occurred in Amy's home on Shore Road, where Steven, armed with a shotgun, fatally shot his family in the living room before committing suicide.
