On October 25, 2023, Lewiston, Maine, experienced a devastating mass shooting that claimed 18 lives, including that of 55-year-old Ronald "Ron" Morin. Ron was at Schemengees Bar & Grille, participating in a cornhole game with the bar's manager, Joey Walker, when the tragedy occurred. Both men were among the victims of the attack.
