On October 25, 2023, a mass shooting occurred in Lewiston, Maine, resulting in the deaths of 18 individuals, including 14-year-old Aaron Young and his father, Bill Young. The tragedy unfolded at two locations: Just-In-Time Recreation, a bowling alley, and Schemengees Bar & Grill. Aaron and his father were at the bowling alley when the shooting began.
