In the quiet town of Searsmont, Maine, the life of 50-year-old Amy Nickerson, a white female, was tragically cut short in a devastating act of domestic violence. On Monday, November 27, 2023, deputies from the Waldo County Sheriff's Department responded to a call at a residence on Borough Road. Upon arrival, they discovered the bodies of Amy Nickerson of Stockton Springs and her ex-boyfriend, 50-year-old Lance Lucas of Searsmont. Both were deceased from gunshot wounds.
