Murdered

Lamont Brandon Rogers, a 28-year-old Boise resident, was shot and killed on September 5, 2021, in downtown Boise. The incident occurred near the intersection of 6th and Grove streets in the early morning hours.

Rogers was walking with three other people, including 20-year-old Timmothy Morgan, when Morgan suddenly pulled out a handgun and began shooting. Rogers was struck eight times and died at the scene despite the efforts of officers and paramedics.
