In the late afternoon of August 2, 2019, a tragic event unfolded at a home on the Boise Bench. A shooting at a residence on North Fry Street resulted in the death of 45-year-old Antoine Jones, a male resident of Boise, Idaho. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene, but Jones was pronounced dead from multiple gunshot wounds. A second individual, a woman, was also injured in the incident but was treated at a local hospital and subsequently released.
