In the summer of 2020, the life of Barry Lord, a 46-year-old White/Caucasian male from the Manchester, New Hampshire area, came to a sudden and tragic end. On the night of July 11th, what began as a dispute escalated into a violent confrontation that left one woman injured and Lord dead in what police have described as an attempted murder-suicide.
Late that Saturday evening, at approximately 11:45 p.m., the sound of gunshots shattered the quiet of a Union Street neighborhood in
Manchester. When police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a grim tableau. Barry Lord was found deceased outside from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Nearby, a woman was found suffering from gunshot wounds to her legs.
