Kevin Denbow, 37, was fatally shot in Manchester, New Hampshire, in the early morning hours of March 14, 2019. Police responded to a reported shooting near Sagamore Street around 3 a.m. and found Denbow dead at the scene with a gunshot wound to the chest. Another individual was found injured with apparent stab wounds.
The Attorney General's Office led the investigation into the incident, which was quickly ruled a homicide.
While authorities initially identified those involved and stated there was no threat to the public, details surrounding the circumstances of the shooting and the individuals involved were not immediately released.
The final report from the Attorney General's Office concluded that Denbow's death resulted from a confrontation with another individual. The report stated that the use of deadly force by the other individual was justified as an act of self-defense, and therefore no criminal charges were filed in connection with Denbow's death.
