Murdered

On October 27, 2021, 22-year-old Dawson McGrath of Addison, Vermont, sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound at a residence on Pleasant View Drive in Addison. Emergency responders, including the Vergennes Area Rescue Squad, Addison Fire Department, and Life-Net of Ticonderoga, New York, arrived promptly at the scene. McGrath was airlifted to the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, where he was initially listed in critical condition but later succumbed to his injuries.
