A couple are found deceased in their camper in a pull off
On September 12, 1969, James Hipp and his wife, Iola, were found murdered in their camper near Adamant, Vermont, a town in Calais. The retired couple, originally from Florida, had been on a road trip along the East Coast, traveling with their two dogs and towing a camper. They were last seen alive on September 11th when they stopped for gas in Marshfield, Vermont. A witness later saw their vehicle being driven north by an unknown man, while their bodies remained inside the camper.
