In the late afternoon of September 2, 2023, a report of a fight in progress at an apartment at 50 Cherry Street in Rutland, Vermont, led to a grim discovery. Inside, authorities found 35-year-old Santonieo Miller of Albany, New York, deceased from apparent gunshot wounds. Another man was also present at the scene, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
