In the early morning hours of May 7, 2010, the city of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, recorded its first homicide of the year. Forty-year-old Scott Jenschke of East Providence, a male, was found lying on the sidewalk in front of 50 Division Street. Police responded to a call around 5:30 a.m. and discovered that Jenschke had sustained a single gunshot wound.
