On a summer morning in Lincoln Woods State Park, a park ranger noticed an abandoned car with its windshield wipers still running. This discovery on August 10, 2011, led to a grim finding that shattered a family. Inside the trunk of the car was the body of 20-year-old Ronny Almonte, a Black/African American male.
