On June 20, 2021, at approximately 3:30 a.m., a fatal shooting occurred outside a house party on Cheshire Street in Providence, Rhode Island. The victims were identified as Abdoulaye Diallo, 24, of Woonsocket, and Abass Mbaye, 29, who was visiting from Senegal. Both men were transported to Rhode Island Hospital, where they were pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
