In the early evening of June 4, 2025, a sense of unease settled over March Street in the Chad Brown neighborhood of Providence, Rhode Island. Terrell Davon McLain, a 29-year-old Black man, was found with a gunshot wound shortly after 7 p.m. The immediate response from emergency services saw him rushed to Rhode Island Hospital, but tragically, the efforts to save his life were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead.
