In the early evening of August 20, 2020, Kadeem Moore, a 29-year-old Black / African American man, was fatally shot in Providence, Rhode Island. The incident occurred at approximately 7:38 PM at a location known as Parenti Villa or Tobey Manor, located at 25 Tobey Street. When Providence Police responded to reports of a shooting, they discovered Moore lying face down with apparent gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
