On December 23, 2021, Janice Yvonne White, a 56-year-old woman from Fort Worth, Texas, was fatally shot in her kitchen. Police were called to the scene around 2:36 a.m. after receiving reports of a shooting at her residence on Sunflower Circle North. When they arrived, they found White with a gunshot wound to her upper leg. She was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
