On August 3, 2023, 33-year-old Jhensen Baldayac was fatally shot in a drive-by incident on June Street, near the Chad Brown housing complex in Providence, Rhode Island. The shooting also left two other men, aged 35 and 28, with severe injuries. Police discovered over 20 shell casings at the scene and later found a vehicle on Goddard Street with bullet holes and additional casings inside.
