In the early morning hours of a Sunday in Providence, Rhode Island, the life of a young Hispanic man, Niberto Ramon Belete Diaz, was tragically cut short. On October 3, 2021, the 21-year-old was in the vicinity of the 100 block of Chalkstone Avenue when the sound of gunfire pierced the quiet of the neighborhood.
