On the morning of September 25, 2021, 38-year-old Jorge Garcia was fatally shot while having breakfast with a friend at Roque’s Café on Broad Street in Providence, Rhode Island. A masked individual wearing a black hooded sweatshirt entered the establishment and fired multiple shots, striking Garcia six times. Despite immediate medical attention, Garcia succumbed to his injuries.
