In the fall of 2019, the life of a 16-year-old White female named Shayna Ritthaler was tragically cut short. The story began as many modern connections do, through the screen of a device. Shayna, from a small town in Wyoming, had met 17-year-old Michael Campbell of Sturgis, South Dakota, on an online dating website called Badoo.
