In the early morning hours of July 26, 2020, the life of 31-year-old Lamar Hood, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. At approximately 4:30 a.m., police were dispatched to the vicinity of East Austin Street and Cliff Avenue after reports of gunshots echoed through the neighborhood.
