Murdered

On July 8, 2011, Sergeant Steven Kenner of the Bismarck Police Department was fatally shot while responding to a domestic disturbance call. The incident occurred around 10:38 PM on East Broadway Avenue. Kenner and another officer arrived on the scene to find a man sitting in a van, who had been reported to be threatening a woman with a knife.
