On April 14, 2017, 23-year-old Nicholas "Nick" LaQua of Bismarck, North Dakota, was involved in a tragic accident at his home. While showing a handgun to someone, the firearm discharged unexpectedly, resulting in a head injury. Nick succumbed to his injuries the following morning, April 15, 2017.
