Caucasian/White male John Kellogg, age 47, was discovered deceased on December 28, 2019, after Alaska State Troopers conducted a welfare check at his property near Greenstreet Circle by the Parks Highway and Hyer Road in Wasilla. Investigators soon concluded he likely died on Christmas Day, December 25, turning the quiet holiday into the starting point of a homicide investigation. His body was taken by the State Medical Examiner as troopers began reconstructing his final hours.
