Keola Penovaroff, a 39-year-old resident of Hilo, Hawaii, was tragically killed on Thanksgiving evening, November 26, 2015. The incident occurred on West Kawailani Street in Hilo, where he suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the chest.
Authorities responded to the scene and found Penovaroff unresponsive with an apparent gunshot wound. He was swiftly transported to Hilo Medical Center but was pronounced dead at 10:57 p.m.
