In the quiet pre-dawn hours of May 12, 2017, a chilling incident shattered the peace in a Hilo neighborhood. Police responded to a frantic call about a man suffering from a gunshot wound at a residence on Hīnāno Street. Upon arrival, they discovered 40-year-old Sheldon Navor lying unresponsive with a single, devastating gunshot wound to the head.
