Any updates on this case?
On October 29, 2017, Nicholas Theiss, a 24-year-old man from Kurtistown, Hawaii, was found in the yard of his residence with a gunshot wound to the head. A firearm was recovered at the scene and a 28-year-old man who lived at the same residence was arrested on suspicion of second-degree attempted murder, but was later released pending investigation. Theiss was initially taken to Hilo Medical Center and then flown to Oahu in critical condition.
