In the early morning hours of Friday, April 13, 2007, a man was found shot and killed in Washington, D.C. The male victim was identified as Lawrence Prue, who was also known by the name Andre. The incident occurred at approximately 3:00 a.m. at 3461 Eads Street, NE.
The Metropolitan Police Department is actively investigating the death of Mr. Prue as a homicide. To date, the case remains unsolved, and authorities have continued to ask for the public's help in gathering information regarding the shooting.
The department's Violent Crimes Branch is handling the investigation.
There have been no arrests made in connection with the murder of Lawrence Prue, and no suspects have been publicly identified. The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for his death. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact detectives.
