In the early morning hours of a late summer day, the life of a young Washington, D.C. man was tragically cut short. Twenty-four-year-old James Darrell Hill was discovered on August 27, 2005, in the 3000 block of Naylor Road, SE, having been fatally shot. The male victim was found at approximately 3:23 a.m., and the circumstances surrounding his death immediately launched a homicide investigation.
