In the light of a Friday afternoon, the peace in a Northeast Washington, D.C. neighborhood was broken by the sound of gunfire. On March 8, 2024, at approximately 12:09 p.m., officers from the Fifth District were called to the 1200 block of Mount Olivet Road, Northeast.
