On a late spring evening, the life of Cornelius P. Broadus, a male resident of Washington, D.C., was tragically cut short. On Saturday, May 5, 2007, at approximately 11:50 p.m., he was shot and killed in the 800 block of Taylor Street, Northwest. Known to his loved ones by the nickname 'B.G.,' his sudden death sent ripples of grief through his family and community.
