On April 15, 1994, 23-year-old Darrell K. Collier, the manager of a Popeyes restaurant in Gadsden, Alabama, was tragically killed during a robbery. That night, after the restaurant had closed, Collier and three other employees—Nathaniel Baker, 17; Tamika Collins, 18; and Bryant Archer, 17—were present in the establishment.
