Bobby L. Germany was a 17-year-old male from Birmingham whose death became one of the city’s many grim entries in late 2007. The clearest public accounts say he was found dead from a gunshot wound behind an abandoned house in the 800 block of 47th Street North in the Kingston neighborhood, a hard and lonely setting for a life that was still in motion.
