Shekrian Wilkerson, a 32-year-old man from Montgomery, Alabama, was fatally shot on January 26, 2014, in what authorities later described as a violent and targeted act. Wilkerson was found in the early morning hours, suffering from gunshot wounds in the 100 block of St. Charles Avenue, a residential area in Montgomery.
