Kenneth Ray Bell, a 56-year-old man from Mobile, Alabama, was fatally shot on June 3, 2014, in an incident that led to a homicide investigation by the Mobile Police Department. The shooting occurred in the early evening when officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 600 block of St. Stephens Road. Upon arriving at the scene, police discovered Bell suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to a nearby hospital, but he was later pronounced dead from his injuries.
