In the winter of 2008, a 50-year-old man, Michael Curtis Magby, was found murdered in his Washington, D.C. apartment. On the morning of Friday, February 1, at approximately 10:27 a.m., authorities discovered his body in the 1300 block of Fort Stevens Drive, Northwest. The nature of his death was immediately determined to be a homicide, prompting an investigation by the Metropolitan Police Department.
