Murdered

On March 20, 2015, 19-year-old Lemarkus Hamilton was involved in a fatal altercation in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred around 4:10 p.m. in the 1000 block of Tuscaloosa Avenue. Hamilton became embroiled in an argument with his mother's boyfriend, during which another individual, Chanze Jones, intervened by restraining Hamilton in a bear hug. Witnesses reported that after a brief struggle, Jones shot Hamilton multiple times before fleeing the scene on foot.
